Expo East Doll & Teddy Bear Show Fast Approaching

The Expo East Doll & Teddy Bear Show produced by Jones Publishing (Teddy Bear Review) will be held on August 20 & 21 at the Marriot Wardman Park Hotel. The hotel is at the Woodley Park - Zoo Metro station on the Red Line. Agape Bears will be exhibiting miniature bears by Little Gems and Deb Canham as well as Elizabeth's own originals. Jaime Wu of Little Gems will be signing on Saturday, August 20 and Deb Canham will be signing for a few hours Saturday afternoon. We will have an exclusive Limited Edition piece from Little Gems but are not doing a new signing piece from Deb Canham.

Elizabeth introduced Lil Bitz and other New Bears

Elizabeth has been working hard to complete new pieces for the summer shows, including the Kansas City Jubilee and Expo East. Her newest line are the Lil Bitz - 4.5" and 5" pocket bears with hand-beaded necklaces. See Toby, Holmes, Lydia, Pipkin and Trinket on the site click here to see or visit them in person at Expo.

Also new from Elizabeth are three new 12" bears - Pippin, Ozark and LaurieAnne. And don't miss Ollie - an all black bear with side-glancing glass eyes. Elizabeth's creations are almost all one-of-a-kind creations, so when they are sold, you won't see them again.

Auction to Benefit Good Bears of the World

Good Bears of the World International and the Giving Paws Den of GBW are hosting an auction of Teddy Bears on Saturday August 20th during Expo East. Items will include artist original creations, limited edition collector bears and plush bears. It is always a fun event that you don't want to miss. Deb Canham Releases the newest Hot Editions

Deb Canham has released a new series called the Hot Editions Deb Canham has the 5th and 6th Hot Editions just in time to coincide with our oppressive summer heat. Beach Belle is a mohair bear in a purple bathing suit with red polka dots. She wears tiny flowered sandal and carries a fish accented beach bag. Sandy is a mohair mouse in a purple swimsuit with red stars. Her beach bag has a star design. Each is $90.00. Remember, the Hot Editions are extremely limited and stores cannot re-order.

Boyds Fall Special Event

The Boyds Bubba's Big Bash is scheduled for Saturday, October 1, 2005. The event pieces are Bubba Ray, a 14" rust plush bear with paw print foot pads and a double jointed neck. He wears a collar with a big brass bell. He will sell for $19.99. The event resin piece - Bubby Ray... Sunny Days - is a 3 1/4" bubba bearstone surrounded by sunflowers. This piece will sell for $9.99. Get the set for $29.98.
